It’s a GLP-1 news-heavy week, interestingly, this week that I’ve been struggling since coming off Ozempic. I’m going to keep my personal experience behind the paywall, because it’s vulnerable and my trolls are coming out from under their bridges more lately. So we’re switching up the formatting here, doing the news before my own story.

, who writes Chief Complaint and is a proponent of fat-phobia-free medical care, shared her experience being on and getting off Ozempic at NPR this week.A Texas judge blocked the request for an injunction against the FDA ruling that compounding pharmacies must stop making GLP-1s like Ozempic and Wegovy, meaning that compounding pharmacies only have until May 22 to stop.
It is being reported that Ozempic-like drugs may change your brain chemistry and make it more likely for you to suffer from depression.
A lawsuit alleges that a Maryland man has gone blind as a result of taking Ozempic. This is not the only lawsuit alleging this.
People are big mad at Janelle Rohner, a health and wellness influencer, who confessed to using a GLP-1 to lose her last 10-15 stubborn pounds while selling weight-loss programs.
