Update on Kilmar Garcia. I was initially thinking this was wrong as well, but updates are now saying he has a history of assaulting his wife. There's an audio of her begging a judge to give him prison time (or something like that; don't specifically recall) after she reported abuse. He's also back in the U.S. being charged with smuggling in children -- whom he abused along the way -- and is charged with murdering the mother of a rival gang member. So, I wouldn't be too sure about feeling sorry for this person.
